I am also picky about lawn mowing and I cringe when Hubby rides around on the big mower. I give him instructions before he starts but sometimes I forget things and find that a new plant is now mulch. ;-(

I do my own mowing with a push mower in the front yard.

My dad used to get into mowing wars with the neighbor. They would take turns mowing the “border” at different mower heights of course. Sheesh!
